Baker & Joy provides a range of Independent Person services designed to deliver powerful and impartial assistance to children, young people and families receiving services from social care. Our services are designed to assist at Stage 2 and 3 of The Children Act 1989 Complaints Procedure as well as providing independent panel members at secure accommodation reviews.
The Children Act provides a right to children, families and other relevant persons to make a complaint to the Local authority if they are unhappy about any service they are receiving or wish to receive. Baker & Joy provides Independent Persons to assist with different aspects of the complaints process. All our Independent Person services are designed with the same goal in mind; to ensure fairness and proper representation throughout the process. |
